The Rumskulls Picaroons

The Rumskulls Picaroons operated from 1997 until 2006 in the Chesapeake Region. Many happy years of living history events, pirate festivals, pirate invasions, promotional and television work are remembered by the membership, most of which have moved on to bigger and brighter things.

Pirate Invasion Weekend Chamber of Commerce Georgetown, North Carolina Rumskulls acting as Marine Militia, commanding the troops, training the actors in firearms, and scripting of the actual beach confrontation

First Annual Blackbeard Festival City of Hampton Chamber of Commerce Hampton, Virginia Provided four choreographed street fights per day amongst shire reeve, deputy, pirates and doxies, Saturday and Sunday. Provided actors for the trial of Blackbeard's crew held sunday. Technical research and contact group information provided as well as consultants.

250th Anniversary All Periods Encampment, 2001 St James Episcopal Church Monkton,  Maryland Interacted with the public as Tidewater colonial people from various walks of life from the year of the church's founding, as settlers travelling to the frontier up the Gunpowder River Valley on our way to the Hagerstown/Cumberland region with Easter Longhunter's as guides.
